WhiteHorse Internet Connectivity

WhiteHorse Communications provides basic, direct Internet connectivity in the greater El Paso metropolitan area, supporting modem speeds up to 56Kbps (V.anything, K56Flex only, and V.90), as well as leased-line Frame-Relay connections from 128Kbps to T1 (1.544Mbps) speeds, BRI ISDN (64 or 128Kbps) access, E1 (2Mbps bi-directional) Wireless, and DSL Internet access.

WhiteHorse Communications provides the highest quality local access to the Internet. WhiteHorse is connected to the Internet via a fractional DS3 (15Mbps/45Mbps) fiber optic line to the Qwest Tier 1 Internet backbone.

WhiteHorse uses Ascend Max 4000 Series digital routers for both analog and ISDN access, and Cisco routers for Frame-Relay, DSL, and Tier 1 Internet backbone access.

WhiteHorse uses FreeBSD (Unix-based) servers; each hosting separate functions, such as Web Servers, Domain Name Servers, and user mail, as well as Windows/NT/2000 servers for Web Servers and other functions, all connected via a 10/100Mbps Cisco Catalyst Ethernet switch to the Cisco routers. This configuration can be easily expanded as the demand and traffic requires, while maintaining the highest quality at a very low cost to its subscribers.

WhiteHorse Internet Terms and Conditions

WhiteHorse Communications provides a Windows-based or Macintosh Internet access software starter kit, at no extra charge to PPP subscribers. WhiteHorse does not warranty nor support this software kit. There is no restriction on the content or use of your connection, except resale. Subscribers are required to comply with the Acceptable Use Policies (AUPs) of any network through which they communicate. Other terms and conditions apply.

Payment Methods

Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card are accepted, provided written authorization for automatic monthly billing is included with the subscription request. Automatic credit card billing is the only form of payment unless prior arrangements have been made. No pro-rated billing or refunds for partial months are available, except for the first month of service. All fees are subject to change without notice and are subject to applicable state and local taxes.
